Cantonese Art Association Inc. (CAAI) is a not-for-profit cultural organisation dedicated to sharing the beauty and spirit of Cantonese performing arts with communities across Australia. Founded in 2019, we bring people together through vibrant concerts, cultural festivals, and creative collaborations that celebrate the rich traditions of Cantonese music, dance, and theatre. Our mission is to preserve this unique heritage while inspiring new generations to explore and enjoy Cantonese culture. Whether on stage or in the community, CAAI creates welcoming spaces where culture connects, traditions are honoured, and the arts bring people closer together.

Cantonese Art Association is a not-for-profit cultural art organisation and we aim to advocate, encourage, develop and promote cantonese excellence art performance in indoor and outdoor and to enable the money spend in social, economic, and cultural potential of music to be realised for the benefit of all Australian.                                                             

 

[ Statement of Purposes ]

Our mission is to promote and preserve Cantonese multicultural diversity and traditional music in Australia. We strive to present the unique traditional art and cultural forms of Cantonese to Australian audiences at the highest level.

We will strive to cooperate with like-minded groups and inherit Cantonese multiculturalism to meet people’s needs for Cantonese in life and spiritual aesthetics.

[Freedom of Expression and Respect]

Everyone shall have the right to freedom of association with others, including the right to form and join trade unions for the protection of his interests.

No restrictions may be placed on the exercise of this right other than those which are prescribed by law and which are necessary in a democratic society in the interests of national security or public safety, public order ( ordre public ), the protection of public health or morals or the protection of the rights and freedoms of others.

[To raise money for charity via our charity performance]

We regularly perform in a variety of venues in the city and suburbs of Melbourne, helping to raise funds by offering free concerts while serving residents, cultural, artistic, and economically, socially, and morally needy people. These disabled and vulnerable groups will be directly or indirectly integrated into the community.
